Language Arts: Today we started our first (writing) assignment. Students began their "All About Me" expository essay in which they were to explain who they are. This assignment gives me an opportunity to gauge each students' writing ability.

HW: None- we will continue this assignment in class tomorrow.

Math 8: Today we did a Warm Up/review of Learning Targets from last year. Checked out "Moving Straight Ahead" books, and began Walkathon Lab".

Algebra: Today we did a Warm Up/review of previous years' learning target, checked out Algebra books (need to cover outside of book), and discussed proper hallway/library expectations.

Social Studies: Today we looked at class policies and why we study history!

Science: Today we reviewed our Miracle Fish lab from yesterday. We did a cooperative learning activity and discussed expectations.
