Language Arts: Today we started reading Edgar Allan Poe's Tell-Tale Heart. We discussed context clues and what they are. We will use this strategy during the time we read Tell-Tale Heart.

HW: no homework

Math 8: Today we reviewed homework from the weekend and continued working on Exploring Equalities.

HW: Finish worksheet started in class (MSA pg #5-8). Must show work on diagram, solve algebraically and check solution.

Algebra: Today we reviewed lesson 3.4 and held mini conferences to discuss retake tests from last week.

HW: Complete worksheet, "What is the Advantage of Buying a Magnetic Bulletin Board?"

Social Studies: Today we went over Friday's homework and compared the three colonial regions.

HW: review handouts for quiz tomorrow

Science: Today we found the mass and volume of our second liquids. We are to graph our data from both liquids and then answer questions.

HW: Because there is a substitute today, there will be no homework. We will discuss our findings with VBerg once she's back at school.
