Language Arts: Today we continued our reading of "Flowers for Algernon". Using context clues, we discussed what characteristics or traits have become apparent about Charlie at the beginning of the story.

HW: LIST 3 Vocabulary, Cornell Notes, and Summary Writing are due on Tuesday, 11/8.

Math 8: Today we simplified problems using the distributive property.

HW: Distributive Property #2

Algebra: Today we identified patterns of change in a table.

HW: Moving Straight Ahead, pg. 8-9 1.3 AB

Social Studies: Today we completed the non-cognitive of the ACT test.

HW: please make sure students have 2 pencils (with erasers), a book, and a calculator for the ACT test tomorrow.

Science: Today we continued our study on what causes seasons. We watched a short video about Harvard graduates who don't know what causes seasons. We learned that we are smarter than Harvard graduates!

HW: Finish worksheet. Tomorrow is the ACT test. Make sure you all show up with two #2 pencils with erasers, a book, and a calculator. Get plenty of sleep. Eat a breakfast and lunch with little sugar so you don't bonk during the test.
