Algebra:
Today we continued working on solving systems of equations through Graphing, Substitution and Elimination Methods.

HW: worksheets pg 165 & 166 (due Wednesday)

Math 8
Today we started a new seating chart and handed back past HW to file. We continued working on slope, today we focused on sing slope in real life situations.

HW: No new HW, complete any work that has not been turned in previously (additional practice #1-4, justification poster, past worksheets, etc.)

Language Arts
Today we reviewed the definitions of various literary devices and elements. Tomorrow students will be playing a trivia game that requires them to identify these in a number of works of literature.

HW: None;
Please note, students who received an "I" for their trimester 1 grade have 8 DAYS to turn in any key assignment(s) that is the cause of their incomplete grade in Language Arts. If their work is not submitted by 12/13, their "I" will turn into an "F" permanently.

Science
Today we worked on displacement and distance.

HW: complete displacement - distance diagram and be prepared to discuss tomorrow in class.

Social Studies
Today in class we took notes on different systems of government. Our notes included definitions and examples of 6 different governments.

HW: Review notes on governments and study state capitals.
