Algebra
Today we worked on developing equations from story problems in order to solve using Elimination, Substitution or Graphing. Students were allowed to work within table groups to come up with proper equations.

Math 8
Today we practiced the skill of writing equations when given slope and y-intercept in a story problem.

Language Arts
Today we began taking the OAKS Reading Test. This is the state's way of assessing students' reading abilities.

HW: None

Science
Today in class Mrs. Hay-Roe the counselor came and spoke to students about the Option HS in the district for next year.

HW: none

Social STudies
Today in class we completed the video on North Korea and received an introduction to the Holocaust for the guest speaker, Al Wiener, on Friday.
