Language Arts: Today we expanded our understanding of character analysis by discussing whether particular characters are static or dynamic. We also read through Act 2, Scene 3.

*The last day you can turn in Reading Response 1 (which was due last Friday) is TOMORROW. If it's not in by tomorrow, students will lose this opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency.

Math 8: Today we completed warm up #6 and reviewed worksheet on mean, median, mode and range as a class. Had the rest of class to start HW

HW: TMM pg. 10-11 Problem 1.3 A

Algebra: Today we began warm up #9 (review of mean, median, mode, & range) and went over HW from Wednesday. Class was given 25 minutes to work on missing assignments, or tonight's HW if caught up.

HW: Quiz tomorrow, study practice worksheet 5.6, #s 10 & 11 (try one with a graphing calculator if possible)

Social Studies: Today we took the president's assessment on the first 21 presidents. The next assessment on them is Feb. 2 and will be the remaining...#22-44. In periods 6-8 we also completed the blank flowchart on the process of a bill to a law.

HW: start learning presidents #22-44 for the assessment on Feb. 2

Science: Today we read about relative dating out of the book, and used a reading guide to take notes.

HW: None
