Language Arts: Today we continued our reading and note-taking on "The Landlady".

HW: None

Math 8: Today we began Investigation 2, focusing on Linear Functions and introducing y-intercept

HW: none tonight, finished together in class

Algebra: Today we took our first assessment of the year on "Manipulating and evaluating real numbers and expressions". This was their first opportunity to show proficiency for this target. We also collected spiral notebook with warm ups #001-003 and reflection #1 included.

Reflection:
1. What has gone well for you this school year? What has gone poorly? Explain.
2. What would you like to do more of in math class this year? How will this help you as an individual student?

HW: Have Spirals ready to turn in

Social Studies: Today we took the 50 states assessment. When students completed the test they were to work on the 3 page handout of the Middle Colonies. There are a few questions and a graphic organizer to complete.

HW: Handout of the Middle Colonies due TOMORROW.

Science: Today we made observations and inferences about demonstrations, and associated them to density.

HW: None. This should take a total of zero minutes.
