Language Arts: Today we continued working on our "All About Me" expository essay assignment. Their finished product should be three to five paragraphs of writing about themselves. (The purpose of this essay is to inform their reader about themselves.) The also needed to include two pages of visuals- drawings, pictures, sketches- to go along with their writing. No pre-write, outline, or rough draft is required.

HW: Finish the "All About Me" assignment, the writing and the visuals. It is due Monday.

Math 8: Finishing Walkathon Lab

Algebra: Today we distributed lockers and began review of Evaluating Expressions

Social Studies: Today we looked at the social studies syllabus.

Science: Today we started a small unit on Engineering, where the kids had to build a structure with specific criteria and constraints. They shared out to the class.
