Language Arts: Today we had our first peer conferences! Students gave each other feedback based on the six traits of writing.

HW: None- if students are all caught up.

Math 8: Today we turned in HW from Monday and worked on Warm Up #003. Finished Investigation 1.3 (Using Linear Relationships), and began 1.4 (Recognizing Linear Relationships)

HW: finish 1.4

Algebra: Today we finished warm up #002. Reviewed chapter 2 vocabulary,discussed differences between Whole numbers, integers, rational numbers and real numbers. reviewed half of 2.1 HW questions.

HW: no HW, continue workbook lesson 2.1 all from Monday if not finished

Social Studies: Today we took notes on Colonizing America. Students should be able to say why Europeans came to the New World.

HW: Study 50 states for test on Sept 27

Science: Today we wrote our hypotheses and tested our parachutes. We wrote our procedures while working on our parachutes.

HW: Finish writing procedure.
