Language Arts: Today we were introduced to stems and Cornell notes. These are tools that we will be using the remainder of the school year to expand our vocabulary and work through informational (non-fiction) texts.
HW: None
Math 8: Today we constructed graphs and tables to model problem situations.
HW: 1.4 A&B only. This is only for 8th period!
Algebra: Today we added and subracted integers.
HW: 2.2 in the workbook (pg 18) and 2.3 in the workbook (pg 20)
Social Studies: Today we read from textbook pages 76-80 and took one page of notes on what we read. We answered questions #2-5 on page 80 and also completed the map on the 13 Colonies.
HW: If reading notes, questions and map were not completed during class, the remainder is homework due Thursday in class.
Science: Today we peer edited our partners' procedures and pointed out any steps that needed revision due to unclear or inexact instructions. We then wrote our reflection of our parachutes.
HW: Finish the reflection if not done in class. This should take no more than 15 minutes.
