Language Arts: Today we continued reading Chapter 7 and reviewed expectations for writing an analysis.

HW: Students have one week to finish Chapter 7 reading and notes. Notes should have at least two devices analyzed and two CDs analyzed for Buck.

Math 8: Today we self corrected "Finding Distance" quiz and returned "Looking for Pythagoras" textbook and picked up "Lines and Angles". Began naming and measuring (using protractor) angles worksheet in class

HW: Lesson IT

Algebra: Today we reviewed story problems from HW (6.7C) and continued working on Pizzazz Packet

HW: finish Pizzazz Packet (all 4 pages)

Social Studies: Today we started president's speeches. They will run through Monday. Students were given the War with Mexico question packet. It is due Thursday.

HW: War with Mexico question packet. It is due Thursday.

Science: Period 1 - Today we finished our guided reading activity, and then started to find out how scientists find the epicenter of an earthquake.

HW: None

Periods 6-8 - Today we discussed yesterday's assignment, and then graphed the amount of material ejected from volcanoes in our Sizzling Scale worksheet.

HW: Finish worksheet if not finished in class.
