Language Arts: Today we worked on finishing OAKS Testing. Students who completed testing were able to work on their homework (due tomorrow) or work on a challenge assignment that would serve as an additional learning opportunity for our reading targets.

HW: Chapter 7 reading and notes must be completed by tomorrow.

Math 8: Today we took an pre-Test to get ready for our second round of OAKS testing on April 20th

HW: Lesson 4 and 4T (no new HW)

Algebra: Today we explored fractional exponents.

HW: complete study guide and worksheet from class (including review of mult/div exponents)

Social Studies: Today we worked on our sub-topics for our Western Expansion paper. Goal is to have five sub-topics by tomorrow.

HW: Complete five sub-topics for class tomorrow.

Science: Period 1 - Today we looked at earthquake data in an attempt to locate plate boundaries.

HW: None

Periods 6-8 - Today we located the epicenter of an earthquake using triangulation.

HW: Finish questions if not done in class. This should take no more than 15 minutes.
