Language Arts: Today we finished taking the Call of the Wild final and began preparations for conducting research in our library.

HW: None. Any students who have not completed their tests, will need to come in during their study hall, before school, after school, or lunch to finish.

Math 8: Today we reviewed 8.2 practice packet and began 8.3 notes organizer and practice packet

HW: Oaks 8.3 practice packet, including notes organizer

Algebra: Today we worked on graphing a function and writing rule for said function

HW: finish worksheet 1.7A

Social Studies: Today we spent our last day in the library looking for information.  Students were given the argument sheet to start organizing their main points and evidence to support it.

HW: complete argument sheet if you have not.

Science: Period 1 - Today we discussed four different ways in which Earth's plates could be moving.

HW: None

Periods 6-8 - Today we read about the Richter scale and answered questions. We then started our summary.

HW: Finish summary. This should take no more than 15-20 minutes.
