Language Arts: Today we began our research unit by completing notes on how to properly conduct research in the library. Some students also completed a journal write about their research topic.

Math 8: Today we worked on finishing up all three Oaks Practice packets, students were each given an answer key to check solutions during class

HW: Study Notes Organizers 8.1-8.3 and complete and unfinished Practice Packets (answer key provided)

Algebra: Today we worked on solving story problems involving function notation.

HW: Finish Problem Solving Workshop (mixed review, 1.5-1.7)

Social Studies: Today we worked in class on completing the small sections arguments for the debate.  If not completed in class, they are homework.

Science: Period 1 - Today we watched a demonstration on convection currents and started to make a poster in our groups.

Periods 6-8 - Today we finished up our summaries and started to watch a video, "The Day The Earth Shook." We took video notes.
