Language Arts: Today we scoured Act 1, Scenes 1-3 to find significant concrete details for each of the characters that have been introduced in the Anne Frank play thus far.

HW: Part 2 (the backside) of "Check Your INTERPRETING Skills" worksheet. Students are to select one concrete detail (CD) and write at least one sentence of commentary for three characters from the play. They may choose their CDs from anywhere in Act 1, Scenes 1-3.

Math 8: Today we took a practice OAKS test and graded it in class.

HW: Finish review packet.

Algebra: Today we took a practice OAKS test and graded it in class.

HW: TMM pg 10-11, problem 1.3A. Finish review packet.

Social Studies: Today we reviewed the meaning of the Preamble and received a homework assignment pertaining it. The Preamble WS is due Friday in class. For the remainder of the period we took notes on Article I: the Legislative Branch.

HW: Study and learn presidents #1-21 and work on Preamble WS.

Science: Today we worked on finishing up our Newtonian Physics comics. These were due at the end of the period today, but because the kids worked quietly and very hard (basically they were rock stars), these will now be due at the beginning of class on Tuesday.

HW: Finish comic if not turned in today.
