Language Arts: Today we spent some time making revisions on Reading Response 1, which was due today. Also, we began reading Act 2, Scene 1 in class.
HW: Students need to finish reading Act 2, Scenes 1 AND 2. (They were given copies of the text today.) As they read, they need to be tracking concrete details (significant details from the text) for characters on their notes sheet. Notes should go in the MIDDLE column. Students should have at least one CD for each character and 2-3 for major characters (i.e. Anne, Mr. Frank, the Van Daans). Lastly, as they read, students should be on the lookout for connections they make to the text and should mark the part of the text they connect to with a sticky or highlighting.
Math 8: Today we finished lab 1.1 testing bridge thickness and turned in questions A-E on pg 7 of TMM. Began lab 1.2 testing bridge length.
