Language Arts: Today we continued our Anne Frank final test by completing a second reading response in which students needed to analyze a dynamic and a static character.
HW: The final day to turn in "Connections" that were due last week or to submit a re-do of the first connection opportunity is tomorrow. This is the last assignment that will go into the grade book for progress reports.
Math 8: Today we finished Tennis Ball Lab, collected data, identified variables, created table, graph, equation and story

Algebra: Today we After a discussion on the U.S. census, identifying the sampling methods and questions addressed. Students were asked to come up with a topic of which to survey a sample population (as a table group). They are to identify a sampling method and come up with 2 unbiased survey questions and 1 biased question.

Social Studies: Today we learned about the Judicial Branch and took a few notes. Then we discussed what would be on the assessment tomorrow, i.e. Article II and III and How a Bill Becomes a Law and Checks and Balances flowchart. Students were given one note card for notes. They may use both sides; must be hand written.

Science: Today we reviewed some vocabulary regarding absolute dating. We then did a mini-lab where we found the limits of Carbon-14 dating.
