Language Arts: Today we had some time to complete our summaries of our non-fiction (science) text. We also began viewing the "Anne Frank" movie.

HW: Complete STEMS, notes, and the summary based on the science text. Paper copies of the text were made available to students. This is due tomorrow. If homework is not completed, students will not be allowed to watch the movie tomorrow.

Math 8: Today we had our first opportunity to assess on Scatter Plots: finding Line of Best Fit, and an equation for the LBF, as well as being able to use the equation to predict the future and learn about the past.

HW: no HW

Algebra: Today we reviewed measures of center (Mean, Median Mode and Range)and began looking more specifically at data that can be inferred from these measures. Including measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion

HW: worksheet 13.6, pg. 206-07 (front and back)

Social Studies: Today we started in the library for all core classes except period 8. It was a bit of a slow start. We will be in the library for the next four days so kids can be gathering information on their president.

HW: practice presidents for Thursday's test on #22-44

Science: Today we learned how bell curves show the normal distribution of a trait by graphing hand span data.

HW: Finish worksheet from today, and finish the other two graphs if not turned in yet.
