Language Arts: Today we finished reading Act I, Scene II and began reading Scene III of the Anne Frank play. Students also had time to take notes on significant concrete details (text evidence) that they will later use to support their character analysis.

HW: Students are to complete Part 1 (the front side) of the "Check your INTERPRETATION skills" worksheet. They are to write commentary analyzing a character based on quotes that are given on this sheet. (For each CD given they are to provide at least one sentence of CM explaining what the quote shows about the character.)

Math 8: Today we began warm up #4 and reviewed and answered questions from Wednesday's HW.

HW: Rise/Run worksheet

Algebra: Today we checked out "Thinking with Math Models" (TMM) and began part 2 of our exploring data patterns lab focusing on "bridge length".

HW: TMM, pg. 9, A-E

Social Studies: Today we completed the National Geographic Geography Bee! All students participated and did well. This activity did not factor into their grade.

HW: none

Science: Today we turned in our 2nd Law Labs and reviewed Newton's first two laws. We learned about Newton's 3rd Law. We watched videos on all three laws.

HW: None
