Language Arts: Today we finished our reading of the Anne Frank play. Students had time to collect concrete details (text evidence) on their notes sheet that is to help them determine whether a character is static or dynamic.
HW: Students were given an article they are to read and make a text-to-text connect with. This connection is due by next Thursday.
Math 8: Today we reviewed data from our labs last week, analyzing bridge thickness (and bridge length) vs the breaking weight.
HW: TMM, pg 11, problem 1.3B
Algebra: Today we took had our first opportunity to meet LT 12, "I can display and describe two variable data" using data to graph scatter plots, find the line of best fit, identify an equation that models the LBF, and analyze what the data represents.
HW: Pythagorean Theorem Review worksheet (double sided)
Social Studies: Today we viewed a video on the presidency and the details to the job at hand. Students took notes and it was discussed as the movie was viewed.
HW: none
Science: Today we found the relative age of rock layers, and looked at unconformities and where they fit in age-wise.
HW: Finish worksheet if not finished in class.
